Robert Wehner Appointed to Lourie Center Board of Directors
Rockville, MD – The Lourie Center for Children’s Social & Emotional Wellness (Lourie Center) is excited to announce that Robert Wehner, Jr., MBA, was appointed to its board of directors. Wehner is a group vice president in the retail banking division at M&T Bank. He leads the efforts of 96 M&T Bank branches and more than 500 employees in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia.
“Rob is a respected member of the business community in our area,” said Jimmy Venza, Ph.D., executive director of the Lourie Center for Children’s Social & Emotional Wellness. “His fresh perspective, dedication to children and families, and business acumen will help the Lourie Center continue to grow regionally.”
Wehner earned a master’s degree in business administration from John Carroll University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Dayton. He is also a graduate of M&T Bank’s Senior Leadership Development Program at the University of Michigan.
